At Qurum International Private School, your position as an Arabic language teacher will be crucial in helping students develop their language skills and cultural competency. Among your duties will be:
- Creating and delivering interesting, culturally-relevant Arabic language instruction to learners with different levels of ability.
- Utilizing technology, multimedia, and real materials to improve language learning outcomes.
- Establishing a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes intercultural communication and honors variety.
- Supplying pupils with individualized feedback and support to encourage language learning and fluency.
- Coordinating with colleagues to create cross-cultural projects and educational initiatives.
- Taking advantage of professional development opportunities to remain current with language teaching and pedagogy best practices.
Degree Required
Applicants should have one of the following required qualifications:
Teaching experience: 4+ years
Native level Arabic speaker preferred
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and one or more dialects (e.g., Levantine, Egyptian, Gulf).
3. Bachelors of Education in a related field.
4. At least 4 years proven experience as a teacher in the field.
5. Knowledge of academic management is a tie breaker.
6. Experience teaching Arabic language and culture to students of diverse backgrounds and ages.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for fostering cross-cultural understanding.
8. Understanding of the cultural aspects related to teaching in the Middle East.
