Fire Drill 2019: A success.

QPS believe that the safety of the student must be its utmost priority and that learning can only happen once the safety of our students is secured.

The 27th of February was the day of the Fire Drill. The event was conducted to prepare everyone in the school including students and the staff in the preparation for a real fire.

The school was fully evacuated in the space of 2 minutes, with everyone outside the school positioned in their respective places. Everyone was quick to respond in the drill and this was considered a great success along with cooperation with the response team lead by the Oman Fire Department.

This success could only be attributed through the concerted efforts of the students, teachers and administration, and with enough practice done during the mock drill 2 days prior to the real thing.
